2010 Men's National Team to Compete in FIL World Championships Announced Today

DUBLIN - The roster of 23 players who will represent Ireland in the 2010 Federation of International
Lacrosse (FIL) Men's World Championships in Manchester, England next July was announced by the
Irish Lacrosse Foundation today.

The players were selected from a pool of more than 80 candidates that participated in selection
camps in Ireland and New York earlier this year, and the full squad will assemble for a weekend
mini-camp and fund-raising event on Jan. 8 - 10 in Dublin.

Ireland will be one of 30 national teams participating in the 2010 FIL World Championship Tournament
which will start on July 10.  At the last World Championship Tournament, in Canada in 2006,
Ireland won five of seven games, finishing in 7th place among 21 teams.
